ASOS Western Sweater With Fringing | Similar Corduroy Crops | Dr Marten Boots |
Every Fall I do the much necessary closet switch. I pack away my favorite rompers and sundresses in exchange for sweaters and other cozy items. Immediately following the switch my gut reaction was to turn to my tried and true staple sweaters, like this one. While I love a basic sweater I also love spicing up my wardrobe with a few trendy sweaters each fall/winter season. This year I saw this fringe sweater while browsing on ASOS and it was love at first sight. This sweater got me thinking, I am sure all my fellow midwestern ladies, that live in sweaters for the next six months or so, are probably also looking for fun sweaters! And so this post was born. Below are 5 fun sweater trends to help you feel fun and confident, while still warm and cozy.
1. The Western Sweater
More fringe equals more fun. The most coveted trend this fall doesn’t only apply to boots. Fringe on a sweater is fun, and versatile. Wear it with jeans and booties, or pair it with faux leather leggings for a more eclectic look.
2. The Bright Sweater
Not all sweaters need to be neutral. All three of these bright sweaters would be the perfect comfy casual look. Pair it with a mom jean and sneakers.
3. The Super Textured Cardigan
The cardigans you wore on the reg in elementary school are back. Style it with a turtleneck underneath for extra warmth, or wear it alone tucked into a skirt with tights for a winter night out.
4. The Animal Print Sweater
Animal print is not going anywhere. An oversized animal print sweater paired with Spanx Faux leather leggings is a match made in heaven.
5. The Textured Crewneck Sweatshirt
Wear it alone for a casual look or wear it with a collared shirt underneath to dress it up. Definitely wear it on a winter travel day to reach peak cozy.
