Last year I lusted after teddy coats all winter long, they just look SO cozy, cuddly, soft, warm, okay you get the picture. Once temps start to plummet here in Chicago(and stay there for a good six months) there is no going outside with not just any coat, it’s got to be a warm one. I basically live in my knee length parka, and am ecstatic to have another on trend option.
When Halloween rolled around this year I did the usual, I thought about an item I had really been lusting after and tried to work it into my costume. Cue the thought to be Margaret Tenebaum from The Royal Tenebaums. I purchased my teddy coat from ASOS for $60 and was pretty much shocked by the quality. I wore it out Halloween night and was super warm all night.
Long story short teddy coats are cuddly and warm, and mine just makes me oh so happy every time I put it on!
Outfit Thoughts(aka ways I plan to wear my teddy coat one the cold weather is around for good):
- With jewel tones(like pictured in these photos)
- Paired with a cozy oversized turtleneck sweater, faux leather leggings, and OTK boots. For those really chilly days in Chicago.
- With a graphic sweatshirt and a fluffy beanie
