Meet vaseline’s earthy hipster uncle, Bag Balm. Bag balm is the answer to super dry skin, like skin so dry it is cracked. Along with being a great solution for dry skin it also works wonders on eczema. If you are new around here I’ve had eczema since I was a toddler. I consistently get flare ups on the back of my thighs, my elbows, and lately under my eyes. Whether you are reading this post because you also have eczema or you simply just have dry skin rest assured that there are tons of bag balm uses.

The 411: four ingredients: Petrolatum, Lanolin, 8-Hydroxy Quinoline Sulfate 0.3%, Paraffin Wax. The original bag balm is $10 and comes in a 8oz tin. 8oz is enough bag balm to last you for a very long time. Making it very affordable. Tried and true uses include:
– chapped lips
– dry and cracked skin
– puppy paw protection
– windburn
– chafing
– tattoo care
Why I Love It: I keep this larger than life tin of balm on my bedside table and it has saved me from getting out of bed far too many times. I use it as a thick lip balm or on any skin that is feeling dry or itchy. But by far my favorite way to use this product is on my eczema. Bag Balm is thick and provides enough moisture to prevent my eczema from getting dry and itchy throughout the night. It is a lifesaver in the dryer winter months especially!
