I typically don’t write a blog post solely about an outfit. But this is the post where that changes. Outfit posts are one of my personal all-time favorite types of blog posts to read. Sometimes I don’t want to read a super long Instagram caption, instead, I want a blog post about a power outfit featuring cow print pants!
A Recent Favorite Outfit
First: The Pants!
The cut, the print, the rise, I love it all. I have had my eyes on these pants for YEARS. I love a patterned statement piece and cow print feels kind of timeless to me.The second I put these pants on I felt like the ultimate cool girl( I’m sure you know the feeling). My pants are the Robyn Jean in brown cow print by Lisa Says Gah. The pants are also available in black cow print and a few other bold patterns. BE WARNED: this is zero stretch denim and the pants run SMALL. I am wearing two sizes up from my usual size.
If you too love a bold pant look no further than this fabulous cow print denim:)

Second: An Oversized Button Down
My button-down is a vertically striped Men’s XL purchased from a thrift store. If you are in the market for an oversized button-down I promise you can find one-second hand! Anytime I am on the hunt for a staple item I always try to shop second hand first. Shopping second-hand is not only sustainable but you also can score high-quality items at a very affordable price. For this look, I love the combination of the vertical stripes with the cow print. However, if mixing prints isn’t quite your style a classic white button-down would also pair well.
Third: An Oversized Camel Wool Coat
This coat is a new addition to my wardrobe and I am equally as in love with it as the pants. I know this coat from Aritzia will be a staple in my winter wardrobe for years to come. It is perfectly oversized and is meant for super cold temperatures (you know like most days Jauary through March in Chicago)!
