Hey There! We are officially chuggin along in 2019. If you’ve read my latest posts you know that I am in the midst of a career transition/soul searching journey. Long story short, I decided to step away from a not so stellar job at the beginning of December(if you want more of the deets check out this post). Currently I am working in a restaurant downtown as well as blogging. Plus I’m really enjoying having a not so traditional schedule.
This is not the first time I have gone through a career transition. Since graduating college I have been laid off twice, sought out a new job on my own once, and most recently quit a job that was not right for me. As expected I have kind of become known as the transition girl. Through the transitions in my life I have collected a few mantras and tips that I really hone in on during a transition period.
As we have progressed through 2019 I have been making a more conscious effort to not only focus on these things during a transition but also regularly to maintain balance in my life.
There is one piece of advice I heard years ago that has stuck with me, and I have been spreading it like wildfire lately.
Do more things that make you feel like you.
The things that make you feel like you, can be large or small. At the end of the day by doing little things that make you feel like you will keep you balanced. As well as feeling like your most true self.
