With over a month of quarantine under our belts and at least another month to go I have settled into a pretty normal routine. My main takeaway from the first month of quarantine is focusing on the positive is really hard. Choosing to have a positive attitude is what keeps me feeling normal. The below things have helped me feel a little more positive along the way over the past month.
Quarantine Favorite’s(& Nice To Haves)
A game perfect for two people or honestly even one. Joel and I have been having Yahtzee happy hour every night to close out our “work day” and it has quickly become my favorite part of the day!

Going to get ice cream is one of my favorite things to do in “normal life” so stocking my freezer with ice cream right now is a must. I recently tried this flavor from Graeter’s and it is SO good!
If you don’t want to join the millions of us who have been tie dying at home that’s okay. This set from Amazon comes in a few colors and is under $30. Wear it as loungewear or pajamas, you choose.
I own this hip pack in black and love it. It’s the perfect “purse” during quarantine. It stays close to your body and can hold the essentials. Plus it can be easily washed!
Are you as desperate for a haircut and color as I am? Olaplex No 3 Treatment is the best way to keep you hair healthy in my opinion. Over the years countless hair stylists have recommended this product to me, and it does not disappoint. My favorite way to use this product is to slick my hair back into a bun and leave it in for 12 hours. You will see results, trust me.
The ONLY hand cream you need. Period.

a cutie kitten like Cleopatra:)
At home mainicures are here to stay. This base and top coat combo have extended the wear of my at home manicures to 5-6 days as opposed to the usual chips I get after 2 days.
Having a little bit of a glow makes me feel much more put together at home, even on no makeup days. Mix 2-6 drops with you normal moisturizer and watch your glow appear in 6 hours.
Steaming my floors is my version of meditation. This steamer under $100 is perfect for keeping floors extra clean and not covered in cleaning chemicals.
I am choosing to use my surplus of free time to make progress on my blog. This ring light with a blue tooth clicker allows me to film hands free photos and videos no matter how gloomy it is outside.

A splash of this creamer in my iced coffee makes my morning. I used to be a strictly almond milk in my coffee lady, but after a month of quarantine I have changed my tune.
The highlight of my morning(along with my coffee). This ice roller helps de-puff my face and is a dream for anybody with seasonal allergies.
Purple shampoo is a must for blondes, especially with no hair color appointments in the near future.

My sleep schedule has been out of whack lately. Reading before bed helps my mind wind down and get ready for bed. My Kindle makes reading at night so easy and allows me to shut my lamp off so Joel can sleep peacefully. My two favorite reads lately are Wilder Girls & Before We Were Strangers.
