The bi-annual Sephora sale goes public for VIB and Beauty Insiders this coming week. Right now shopping for beauty products may not be in the cards for you. It may even feel frivolous. If this is the case know you are not alone. During the sale I typically stock up on tried and true items and also try a few new to me products.
This year things look a bit different. With spending nearly all of my time inside my home I do my makeup maybe two times a week. In turn I am using my extra time at home to focus on switching out more products in my usual routine for “clean(ish)” alternatives. By the end of 2020 I strive for 60% of the products I use to be considered clean beauty. Why not 100%? Lets just say there are a few products I love oh so much and have yet to find a suitable “clean” alternatives for.
SKINCARE
SPF: What makes an SPF clean is a debate for another time. Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen truly disappears after you apply it. Plus it does not stand a chance at disturbing your makeup. Innisfree Daily UV Defense Sunscreen is not certified clean by Sephora. But I love this affordable sunscreen anyways. I have very sensitive skin and love this weightless formula, I couldn’t resist including it:)
Self Tanning: If you think self tanning is complicated look no further. Isle of Paradise has changed the game. Try these drops for your face and neck, simply mix a few drops with your moisturizer. I also love this tanning water for my body. I use shade dark.
For Glow: Odds are you have heard of the cult favorite glow product Good Genes. The Farmacy Honeymoon Glow AHA Resurfacing Night Serum is the cleaner, more affordable dupe in my book. On the other hand you know I couldn’t forget my tried and true favorite product: Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask.
For Acne: Acne is different for everyone, but here is what has worked for me. Tower 28 SOS Spray is a savior for not only balancing my acne prone skin, but also keeping my eczema at bay. These First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads are a great entry level chemical exfoliant.

COMPLEXION
Foundation: The Bite Beauty Changemaker Supercharged Micellar Foundation gives medium, buildable coverage and a REAL skin finish. Apply it with your fingers or a brush both are beautiful.
Concealer: Finding a clean concealer has been a struggle for me. The Kosas Revealer Concealer is the best clean formula I’ve tried. Upon first impression the coverage and formula are so creamy, but not creasy. I am excited to use this product for the next few weeks!
Bronzer: A cream bronzer is always preferred in my eyes, even-though I have normal to oily skin. The MILK Makeup Matter Bronzer is simple to apply and blends like a dream.
Blush: Once again a creamy blush that has long-wearing power is preferred in my book. Apply this gorgeous Tower 28 Tinted Lip + Cheek Balm with your fingers. I love the shade Happy Hour for that 2 glasses of wine flush.
LIPS
Tinted Balm/Shine: Similar to Tower 28 the RMS Lip2Cheek can be applied to both your lips and your cheeks. This dual purpose product is perfect to throw in your purse as well as lessen the products in your makeup bag when traveling.
Matte Lipstick: I own 4 shades of the Tarte Color Splash Lipstick, that is how much I love it. This formula is matte but far from drying. I love the shades: Colada, Salt Lyfe, and Weekender.
Weightless Lipstick: The KOSAS Weightless Lip Color Lipstick is a wear everywhere formula that will never dry out your lips. The shade Rosewater is a lovely my lips but better shade.
Lip Gloss: Never sticky but always fun. Lip gloss has a soft spot in my heart. The Tower 28 Lip Jelly formula is hydrating and comes in a handful of stunning sheer shades. Fire is my personal favorite(don’t knock an orange lip gloss until you try it!)
