Name an item more comfortable and chic than an oversized shirt I dare you. The oversized shirt has been around for literally forever. I feel like it all started with a woman threw on their partners size XL button down to lounge in. Soon enough said woman realized the slouchy oversized shape pairs with just about anything and look effortlessly cool. A white shirt is a classic piece that I think everyone should own. A neutral color is also a great place to start if the oversized style is a little outside of your comfort zone. Try styling it open with a tank or swimsuit underneath, or button it and tuck it in(or not). The bigger the better in my opinion!
My go-to look this fall is an oversized top and jeans, plus sneakers or flats depending on the day. I also love styling the same shirt tied up with a pair of bike shorts. If a classic shirt is too simple for you try vertical stripes or a textured shirt. After all isn’t an oversized corduroy shirt the fall dream?
