If you are one of my regular readers(thanks!) you may have noticed about a month ago I quit doing a weekly product review. Essentially I gaslighted myself. I told myself you only want to read about the newest products. Plot twist that is not the case at all. Some of my personal favorite content highlights random beauty products that have flown under the radar for years. So long story long weekly beauty product reviews are back. I’m going to focus on items that have been tried and true favorites for such a long time that I assume you already know about them(when in fact you may not) AS WELL AS new favorites. The 411:Before you say Katelyn most days I don’t wear makeup so you can bet I’m literally never wearing eyeshadow.. hear me out. This eyeshadow is different and no I don’t mean the expensive price tag(it’s worth it, trust me). This cream eyeshadow is not only the perfect formula but the rose gold color is perfectly stunning yet versatile. The cream shadow formula is water based and has a cooling effect as you apply it. The formula is also packed with vitamin E for added antioxidant protection against free radicals.
Why I’m Obsessed:Applying this cream eyeshadow is full proof. Use your finger and lightly apply the shadow all over your lid. Upon your first touch you will realize how whipped yet cooling the formula is. I like to bring the shadow further out and up than I typically would. And sometimes I like to apply two layers for maximum glow. The rose gold shade adds depth and pop while also brightening. The pinky gold shade really pops on blue eyes.
If I was still doing wedding and prom makeup every weekend like I did in college I know I would be reaching for this shadow to use on every person with blue eyes!
