A few weeks ago I was browsing the beauty department at the Walgreens on my block. I noticed that Wet N Wild has a ton of products AND the prices are shockingly low. A lipstick for $2? A foundation for $5? I haven’t seen prices like this since… well ever. So as one does I picked up a few products and walked out of Walgreens feeling liked I had just pulled a fast one on them. I spent literally $12 for four products. When usually spend $12 on just a mascara at the drugstore!
Fast forward a few days and I was LIVING for the foundation. It was officially time to return to Walgreens so I could try anything and everything Wet n Wild has to offer me. I bought $30 worth of products, and this may not sound like a lot, but when the average price of a product is $3..well you get the picture.
Out of everything I tried there were a few products that fell short, a few that were average, and a lot that blew me away. Below is a list of the Wet n Wild products I love. Trust me you don’t want to miss out on these budget buys.

THE BEST OF WET N WILD
1. Photo Focus Stick Foundation: This stick foundation is the REAL deal. Swipe it around your face and blend out with a flat top brush(like the one pictured) or a damp makeup blender. The finish is natural/satin and look like your real skin but gives some serious coverage. I wear the shade Buff Beige.
2. Mega Glo Highlighting Powder: This highlighter is better than 95% of of the highlighters I have used over $40. My favorite shade is Precious Petals.
3. Mega Last Lipstick: This $2 lipstick is everything I want in a matte lipstick. The color is opaque, blend-able and long wearing. To ensure long lasting moisture I apply and then dot a tiny bit of lip balm in the center of my lip. My go-to daily shade(that just happens to be a nearly identical dupe for MAC Velvet Teddy) is the shade Bare It All. If you’re like me and love a pink lip in the summer try the shade Mauve Outta Here.
4. Brushes: These synthetic hair brushes apply creams and liquids like a dream. Try using the Flat Top Brush to apply the stick foundation. Try the Large Eyeshadow Brush for seamless under-eye concealer application.
5. On Edge Long Wearing Eyeliner:Colored eyeliner was my thing in middle school and I am SO here for it being back. Looking for a budget friendly way to try the trend? Try this turquoise eyeliner in Sapphire and Ice.
6. Mega Last Liquid Catsuit Matte Lipstick: Love the cult favorite lipstick by Tarte in shade Salt Lyfe? Then you are sure to love this liquid lip in shade Rebel Rose.

I used to associate Wet n Wild products with teenagers but have used a number of their products over the years. I like their lip products.
